Smith Brothers Gas Company was incorporated in 1956 by the Smith family and remains owned and operated by the third generation of the family. Over the years many of the other family-owned propane businesses have sold but there are still a few of us remaining.

Smith Brothers Gas Company has received many awards over the years with the most prestigious being elected the “NC Propane Gas Dealer of the Year” in 2001 from among several hundred companies. Co-owner Bobby Smith served a term as president of the “North Carolina Propane Gas Association” as well as serving on many of their committees. Chad Smith is the operations manager and is assisted by his brother Brett as well as the most loyal and well trained group of people anyone could ask for.

While it is sometimes difficult to have someone on staff with the required “Fuel Piping License” to install gas piping, Smith Brothers Gas Company has three (3) licensed employees. Our group is like a big family dedicated to pull together to provide the best products and services at a fair pricing to our customers and friends.
